Greenwood Rotary Club Auction Supports Johnson County Students

The Greenwood Rotary Club utilized a District 6580 matching grant to present a check in the amount of $7,430 to the United Way of Johnson County.  The funds will be used towards the United Way's "Fast Track" program, which provides almost 2,000 backpacks, school supplies and other items annually to low income students for the first day of school.

Half of the donated amount was supported by the matching grant, while the other half was raised at the club's annual charity auction.  Additional funds raised at the auction will be utilized to benefit other programs with the Greenwood Community Schools Corporation.
